Q-15  write about the role played by "temple " in kanthapura.

Kanthapura is a small village in south Indian. The village also has a small kanthapurishwari's temple. It was constructed only three years ago and soon became the centre of village. One day moorthy has used the half sunk shiva-linga, and he suggested that it should be washed, and consecrated in a Temple built in it's honour. There are many festivals are celebrating in temple. Like that sanker jayanthi, harikatha, etc.all Brahmin family are welcomed the suggestion, and in the holidays when the youngest boy are coming the village and celebrate the sanker jaynthi. Thuse the temple came into being, and the dedication ceremony was duly performed by bhata. Rangamma gave a feast to celebrate the occasion. The harikatha man whom moorthy brought from the city was called jayaramachar. He said strange harikatha, for along with the god's and goddess, he would bring in Gandhi, the swaraj and the Red men. For example one of the first of his harikathas was as follows:

In the great heavens Brahma the self created one was lying on his serpent, when the Sage valmiki entered, announced by the two doorkeeper. Oh learned sire, what brings you into this distant world?  Asked Brahma and,  offering the sage aseat besides him, fell at his feet.'Rise up', o god of gods. I have come to bring you sinister news. Far down on the earth you chose as your Chief daughter bharata, the goddess of wisdom and we'll being. You gave her the sage loved Himalayas on the north and the seven surging seas to the south,  and you gave her the Ganges to meditate on, the godavery to live by, and the pure carvery to drink in.

Conclusions

In other words, the Katha was political propaganda in disguise. The news of it soon reached the government, and jayaramachar was arrested.  Moorthy looked sad for sometime. Then he and other young man of the village threw away their foreign clothes and becam Gandhi men. A few days later police Men bade Khan came to kanthapura.
